Travels By Age

7 Days Old
Pros: The best part of traveling with a newborn is that she slept most of the day and was breastfed so we didn't need snacks or food. She also didn't need any type of entertainment. She was compact and easy to carry.
Cons: The biggest challenge of traveling with a newborn was being a new parent. We didn't know what to expect. We were also just getting our nursing down so sometimes I felt uncomfortable getting settled.

1 Month Old
Pros: The best part of traveling with a one month old was the portability. She was still very content to be in the carrier most of the day. With nursing she needed very few items to carry. We could get away with being out and about all day with a few diapers and a change of clothing.
Cons: The biggest challenge of traveling with a one month old was still being a fairly new parent. Right when we got the hang of how to do things at home we were on the road and changing things up again.
